People have different body types and are effected differently by certain vitamins, foods, and amino acids. For some people, what relaxes them could stimulate another. You may like to read Gabriel Cousens book, Conscious Eating, where he explains this further.
GABA does not stimulate me but it doesn't give me refreshing sleep. Same with me as with finallyfaith.
And believe me I am not a hyper person, quite the opposite actually.
It's all about having the right balance of nutrients for your body.
I've also been known to not to do well with supplements.
Trypthophan didn't help either. It didn't do anything, and I took it for a long time.
The minerals are whats helped me the most.
I also read somebody else on this forum a while back who said that GABA and tryptophan didn't help them.
