Kevin,
What you are going through is the cumulative result of generations of neglect that your family and ancestors had for diet and self-reliant health care. This is true for most Americans - ever hear of the term SAD (Standard Amercan Diet)?

It is not your parent's fault that they did not teach you proper health practices, but you are the end result of generations of deteriorating self-reliance on personal and family diet. You can be the turning point in your family, you can be the one who changes and passes everything you learned down to your children, the way your ancestors did long ago. You are returning to your roots! You are suffering because no one taught you how to eat well and how to take care of yourself. Instead, commercials and advertisements (and the government) taught you that you are incapable of controlling your own health and must rely on expensive "experts" like doctors and dentists (who usually makes things worse).

Everything you are going through now, you are doing for your future kids, your grandkids, and every other member of your family in the future.


One thing that helped me is to take a sheet of paper and write down two columns:

1. Things you must never consume (hydrogenated oils, chlorinated water, table salt , chemicals...)

2. Things that are ok to consume (bananas, molasses, eggs, Sea Salt ...)

Everyone's "list" is different, and yours will likely change at times, through trial and error, and as you learn about different foods and pollutants, and pharmaceuticals.

Keep it simple! Removing things from life is often one of the easiest and most effective ways to improving life.
