Heat related problems and salty water

I work outside and for many, many years I have to fight headaches and nausea anytime the temperatures get above 85F. This year I take a gallon of water and add a teaspoon of Sea Salt and blend it for 10 minutes. This I drink along all day long and at room temperatures. No ice water for me anymore. Recently the temps got above 100 degrees for a few days and I did not have the slightest headache nor nausea. And I am not totally exhausted at the end of my 10 hour work day. I could also feel the sun burning my skin through a t-shirt.

I have also learned to stay away from starch foods and gatorade. I tried some gatorade once in July and it actually made me feel worse. I do avoid anything with sugar.

Thank goodness for Cure Zone and all I have learned here.

Corey
