Thank you for the reply, Maya!
Well, I'm certainly acid (or do you say acidic?), in the sense that I have for sure toxins stored in my body, but from my ph investigations I can see very neatly that the ph of my urine is not inverted. That is, if I'm acid, after I take some alkalizing drink I get alkaline for sure. If I'm alkaline and I get stressed, or I eat "wrong", I get acid. I am sure of this, I checked it over and over. Funnily, in my 18 hours a day of fasting I am always alkaline, unless I get stressed (but that's also because I drink these tons of water, and my water is ph8).
Things are quite different in the three days following a liver flush, where the ph stays low despite the measures I now take before, during and after the flush, probably in that case yes, all those great amounts of minerals I give myself are used to get rid of the toxins left around by the flush.
Personally, what I am aiming at now is to find tools that guarantees continuity of high ph. I feel that the spots of acidity that are still sometimes happening kind of undo all the good work done during the day. (I can detect the spots efficiently because I drink my urine throughout the day, if i had to rely only on ph papers I wouldn't have such a hour-per-hour feed back). Already my water is pretty good to give me minerals with this continuity, but with the Himalayan Salt added is much more effective.
The problem of flushing out minerals doesn't exist for me because I drink all urine I make. Also urine is at my feeling a good tool to guarantee continuity, when I can't drink it I get acid easily.
Anyway, this is more about being dehydrated that being alkaline. That I could be alkaline without the drink doesn't mean I will give up the drink. If I understood right, minerals are never too many, right? It can be that my main problem at the moment is that of dehydration. It would be interesting also to ask moreless about the connection between ph and dehydration. Is there already a post on the subject that you know of?
