As you use inversion more and more all that blood running to your head you will not hardly feel anymore and you can relax and meditate or listen to music or put a small tv on the floor and watch your favorite program as you hang like a bat. I hang barefoot now, my table came with heel rubber heel cups and a bar covered with neoprene padding that locks my ankels in place. It takes no time at all, just step into the heel cups lock bar across front of ankel and back you go! Hanging also helps with C-1 subluxation which is very prevalant these days for some reason.
