Re: Hysterectomy appt. in march, questions, please help.
#39927...I don't take any hormone replacement and I'm fine as a frog hair. I have
tons of faith, though...and pray about any little thing that pops up...remembering
to always thank God FIRST for all the blessings he has already bestowed upon me.
My doctor wondered out loud if I needed a 'complete' hysterectomy. And I said...if you're going in there...just take out anything that isn't necessary :-) because I
will NOT be having surgery again. They took out my appendix also...and wanted to take the gallbladder...but I refused that. They said most women need gallbladder surgery within one year of a hysterectomy...but that was hogwash...neither my sister
or I or any of our close friends have had major gallbladder problems after our hysterectomies. And I had a complete hysterectomy.
Now I wasn't in to natural healing as firmly back then as I am now...but I would do
the very same thing over the very same way.
And if you mean the doctor that will be doing this surgery is the one that caused
you the problems before....I'd look until I found a better surgeon...even if I had
to go to an adjoining town. Don't take chances with doctors who are not the best
at what they are doing.
By Easter you'll be singing praises of hysterectomies and wanting to do your own
infomercial. :-)
And as for the kidneys, etc. If you still have problems after your hysterectomy...
just run right back to curezone...and we'll do whatever we can to help you fix yourself right up. I have a daughter your age, sweet pea...and I would not steer you wrong! :-) kathryn
