Re: I am curious though?
Hi Wrenn,
I hve read your interview and seen your site. I know that much about you-which is probably a very small amount.
I do not know where your are with your strength or flexibility after your accident but I have been doing yoga for 4 years now.
Kundalini Yoga is the way to awakening Kundalini with spirit and a safer spiritual journey. There are classes almost everywhere, you will see 3HO.org on many of the teachers credentials-this is an teaching organization.
My advice would be to read some of of the books on the subject, such "Transitions to a Heart Centered World", "Relax & Renew", "Sexuality & Spirituality" by Gururattan, "
All these books are available -

Best to take it slow and be prepared when the energy movement comes it is not shocking but enjoyable-actually beautiful.
If this is too foreign for your tastes start by meditating (if you don't already) daily. I had a confirmed practice of meditating at least once a week for a decade before I entered the Kundalini path-not that it must happen this way-just that it better prepared me for the experience.
Even if the 3rd eye never opens or you do not see the parade of lights of the spine, the postures will limber your body, and with the flexibility of body comes flexibility of mind and strength-gently...gradually, loving condition your beautiful spirit and body to know they are working together to bring you to your best health and lifepath.
