i was looking over all of the posts and found that a lot of people are saying that homosexuality is booming just these past few decades. i dont believe this to be true. i spent an entire week researching homosexuality depicted in ancient art for a school paper and found some surprising things. homosexuality in ancient greece was extremely common. in fact there was a very common practice known as pederastry where a man would take an adolescent boy and become his lover. he would protect the boy, educate him, and be a role model for him. because this is not something anyone is going to be taught in schools, most people are not aware of this and assume homosexuality has only just become common, when in fact homosexuality is just becoming more talked about and accepted after a long time of suppression(since the birth of the christian church i believe). try googleing homosexuality in ancient greece, you'll come up with a ton of information.
