John, think through this real slowly: It is not the role of the judiciary to MAKE laws or change social standards of society! And this is precisely what this judge is doing...he/she/they are legislating from the bench. The wacko leftists in Sanfransisco did basically the same thing...and they drew all kinds of hell from virtually the entire nation. People do not like activist judges MAKING LAW! This is one reason why Roe V. Wade was so bad (one of many).

I actually think it's all about to be academic though. As soon as Alito gets on the high court, and libs learn this stuff aint gonna fly, this garbage is going to come to a quick halt. Mark my words....they will not want to set a presedent on a conservative court.
