Re: Maryland moves closer to allowing homosexual marriage

The "liberal activists" using the judicial system to tell the government to leave them alone is a good thing -- except, of course, for people such as yourself who believe that they have the right to use legislation to tell everyone else how to live.

The whole purpose behind the Bill of Rights and Equal Rights restrictions on governments is precisely to give the judicial branch the power to strike down laws approved by the voters or legislators who mistakenly believe that it's their job to dictate personal moral codes to the rest of us.
