Re: Question about vaccinations for older children

If you read the MMR product monograph, it states that there is a high risk of developing Arthritis from the MMR, when it is innoculated in young females. This is what happened to me, except I developed fibromyalgia from the MMR-myalgia is also indicated on the product monograph, and I was a young female when I received this vaccine.

If your daughter does receive the MMR vaccine, I would highly suggest the doctor give it to her with vitamin C. After what happened to me (I cannot function, and this vaccine has ruined my life), I would have never received the MMR vaccine, if I would have known this would have happened to me-and the doctor did not inform me of the high risk of developing Arthritis when the MMR vaccine is given in young female adults. Then when you get sick, no one takes responsibility for the injury.

After learning the hard way, I would highly suggest your daughter find a reason to opt out of receiving the MMR vaccine. I am sure if your doctor writes a note that for medical reasons she cannot receive this vaccine, the university can waive this requirement.
