Re: Question about vaccinations for older children

I'm a student in the UK, I've had all my vaccinations luckily - there was an outbreak of mumps at my uni amongst those who had not had their MMR booster jab. I don't fancy being made sterile by that virus!! I had the Menigitis C vaccination when I was at Sixth Form (age 18), soon after it was released. Menigitis C deaths have shot down in the student population since. I've not had any problems, neither have any of my friends. It was a large independent Sixth Form (2000-odd students) so I'm sure I would have heard something if there had been an adverse reaction. Anyway, thats my experience, take from it what you will. I hope your daughter has a good time at uni!
