Re: dead carcasses

Bravo 5131!! They eat cranberries when in season and they may freeze some as well. They need the fat from the animals that they eat to suvive.

Can you imagine living in that climate on Watermelon and goji berries while trying to hunt for your food? You'd be dead in a month.

Steffanson lived amongst these people and when he first got there lived on lean meat with little to no fat. He got very ill very fast,lethargy,diarrhea..

As soon as he started to eat fat along with his protein,he got better within days.

So fat rules in the Inuit socety..good ol' saturated, omega 3 fat..
