... is the Weston A. Price Foundation and their web site
http://www.westonaprice.org/index.html
I'm going to try out some of their ideas for eating (lots of more fat, raw animal protein like eggyolks and raw milk and butter, preparing seeds and grains by fermenting/sprouting them etc, etc).
Their main aim is to promote more traditional eating habits based on findings made by researching the eating patterns of indigenous people and our forefathers and how they kept themselves healthy. And doing this with the least possible of harm to animals and land.
I won't go into too much detail about my own eating habits, but let's just say they've been very obsessive, emotional and out of control for years and I've "failed" at my contry's version of the SAD-diet, veganism, vegetarianism as well as fruitarianism. I fit very well into a lot of what's descibed on the web site Beyond Vegetarianism (www.beyondveg.com). A site which I think anyone concidering becoming fruitarian/raw-vegan should check out.
If fruitarianism, raw-vegan works for you, great, I wish it would have for me because of the aspect of being able to eat while causing the least harm. If it doesn't, please acknowledge this to yourself and stop feeling shame for being biological/human as well as a spiritual being and that these different parts of you might need totally different types of nourishment.
