Re: is it even at all POSSIBLE for men to be faithful? (If you are still checking these postings)
Hello,
(kind of a long response)
I am a man in my mid-twenties and I'd like to give you my male perspective. If you are meeting guys who are in their early to mid-twenties, I must admit to you that it's very possible that many of them are not the committing type. I'm not saying that ALL men at this age are like that, just it's wise to believe that many of them at this age are somewhat "young and reckless." It IS safe and wise to keep in mind that you may encounter many men like that--young and reckless. Also, like the previous responses to your posting have stated, the environments you go to to meet men do tend to imply the kind of guys you will meet (that should be obvious); for example, if you go to bars, it is more likely than not that most of the men there are out for quick thrills.
It is practically imperative for ANYONE who seeks a stable relationship to become REALISTICALLY ACQUAINTED with the other person. Relationships can be very stressful, yes, and even just preparing/seeking for one can prove to be quite a full-time job! However, you don't have to view it all as a chore--more as a learning experience. You may need to educate yourself well on relationship matters (yes, you may need to do some personal research). Whether through books or magazines (or whatever COMPETENT source), you can shape yourself into a more aware girl on these matters.
Well, these are some of my thoughts. I responded to your posting with sincere concerns for your situation, hoping you might actually read this. Take care.

P.S. Don't write off EVERY guy as a jerk. Some of us ARE great guys!
