skin thoughts

you may be comming more sensitive now to toxins in soaps you use.
try out some natural ones, like castile pure soap,
Http://www.burtsbees.com
has some good wild lettuce toner.
I was using their wild lettuce leaf soap
only on my face (it is expensive)
but I just edited this since my fave soap
is back !! see below the tulsi/neem.

The dry skin thing.. also try this,
apply apple cider vinegar directly to skin
with cotton ball and rub/
you will be surprised at what comes up.
also you can use any good oil,
I like coconut or almond oil for this,
sesame oil is even better cause it detoxifies...

put a bit in a small bowl and add cornmeal
til you get a really gritty runny paste.
sit on a chair on a wood or linoleun floor,
and rub in circular motions onto skin.
let soak in, then brush off dry cornmeal from legs, arms, etc.
sweep up cornmeal .
simple easy and wow !
your skin will feel butter soft
and stay that way several days.

I use a hand soap that is all pure ingredients,
and contains many natural herbs.
You can buy pure castile soap in hard form, btw
and boil about a litre of water,
grate the hard bar castile soap into the boiling water,
remove from heat and whip/ whisk as it cools to make a nice lotion,
hand bathing soap for yourself.. esp use this on privates.
and even add a few drops of a fragrance essential oil you like.
see if hand washing private under clothes helps you avoid any
detergent reactions ...
I used to get skin rashes there
and for the life of me could not figure out why,
til a friend said just start hand washing in baking soda water,
and rinse real well...
that was about 20 years ago ?
never had a rash there since

there are many good organic dish washing detergents out there,
that won't destroy your hands,
at night apply a bit of olive oil to them,
and put in a glove (do wash glove from time to time lol !)

use good face wash techniques if unsure of a good procedure,

As far as what you said about bananas being over sweet to you ,
I have a problem with them as well.
. they make me cold and tummy sick feeling
My son gobbles them up .
Try some kiwi fruit, pears, pink grapefruit, red grapes.
My son makes us a fresh squeezed starter drink every morning,
just an orange and a lemon, with room temperature water,
to wake up the kidneys and liver.

remember don't drink cold drinks they ar ehard on kidneys and liver.
if you get stuff from fridge, take chill off with room temp water.

oh I wanted to tell you this as well,
pau d'arco (lapaucho herb)
is MOST effective against candida and thrush,
and can use tea from it as a douche if need as well.
I take it daily 3 times a day in an herbal extract
for different reasons, but it is great for candida also.

Here is a link to where I get mine (I add 15 DROPS not dropperfuls)
to a drink 3 times a day.
http://www.mountainroseherbs.com/extract/n-z.php
(scroll down til you see pau d;arco extract)
to get bark to make a good douche,
go to their bulk herbs page and buy it there,
here is a link to how to make a douche with it
(you can use it as a douche
as well as teh marigold/echinachea one)
no need to get sagebrush either btw...if doing tea/vs extract,
i like the handiness of the extract better myself.
Also there, check out the castile soaps..

ps, remember the body excretes toxins thru skin as well,
and this will affect it for a period of time.
I have extreme scars on my body,
the more I cleanse my body, and my skin,
the more *light pink patches* of circulation
I see around my old scars.
To me this indicates blood is working there to rejuvenate
the damaged areas around the scars, and better circulation
is occuring there.
I am looking at one of my arms now, and I am very pale person,
the scars are whiter than white (have been )
right now on my left arm, about 9 of the scars are now a blush pink!
and a huge burn scar (about 5 " long by 1 +1/2" wide)
is starting to get pink color in a few spots in it.

These scars are about 14 years old now..
so for me it is a great sign
that they are rejuvenating.
