Re: Mercury Amalgam....*this* is more interesting
Michelle, I didn't misunderstand your post....you asserted with a quote from a dentists website (who have a vested interest in claiming that mercury is safe) that mercury in
Amalgam is "not harmful to health...essentially harmless", right? That isn't true and there's plenty of credible scientific evidence to support this arguement in the links I gave you. Also mercury from
Amalgams is one of the primary sources of toxicity, not air or water.
> "And since you are so concerned with toxins....."
I think everyone on this board is probably concerned with toxins to some degree or another. But we were talking about mercury in
Amalgams which is a constant drip drip drip of mercury into our bodies. I dont think any of the other examples you gave compares to that.
> As I said previously. I have had candida twice now. I have fillings that were there since first time with candida. I completely recovered and was well for 8 years until I took
Antibiotics again.
Yeah I agree
Antibiotics are bad news.
> But I wish everyone would stop promoting it as a reason for having candida
I dont know if its the only reason for having candida. I'm sure there are other reasons too, I think there is something in the argument about mercury being the cause of candida in some people. I believe it depends on how compromised your liver, adrenals, thyroid, kidneys are. Maybe not everyone. But something is compromising our immune systems. If more people chelated we'd know for sure.
I understand what you say about people still being ill after having fillings removed. The same applies to me. I noticed no significant change in my health either way after my fillings were removed. That doesn't prove mercury isn't part of the problem, as vapour from fillings will have already been absorbed into the nervous/endocrine systems, as I said previously. Anyway, in my case I also had a course of hep b vaccines, which contain mercury. I know I have a problem with mercury from my response to chelation, hair test, dmsa test.
Removing fillings just prevents further exposure to mercury from them. If people are still ill with candida or whatever else, they may well need to chelate.
