Re: 6 months in...and now food intolerances

WOW- so there's that to look forward to too...that even after it's all over I might well suffer from permanent intolerances? I supppose after eliminating all those foods for such a long time, your body learns to do without them. Interesting that soy milk is so bad for you- not that it is particularly delicious anyway- I'm going for the rice milk option, perhaps if that's nice enough i could have that permanently!

About the good bacteria- YES, I am on dairy free acidophilus (probiotic capsules). I take 4 a day last thing at night (best time to take them when your digestion's at rest)- which equates to 20 billion live bacteria (A LOT MORE THAN THE 5 MILLION BIO YOGHURT GIVES). I've been told by my naturopath and countless others that whilst the candida has stripped your stomach of all the good bacteria, and has been taken over by yeast...as we are now killing off all the yeast, it's important to build up the good bacteria in your stomach again to help restore your intestinal health. My family swear by them- they all take them after any tummy bug etc- brilliant stuff.
