HELP! How do I recognize candida?

My 'wonderful' doctor put me on tetracycline about a year ago for Acne that I wanted to clear up before my wedding. It worked great for a few months, and then started to come back worse, so he upped the dose..this went on for about 9months!!! Then the tetracycline stopped working all together, so he put me on Cefadroxil (a strong Antibiotic that the pharmasist said they usually give for DOG BITES!). This drug at $168 a bottle/month; cleared me up for a month, and then slowly stopped working. He wanted me to be on it for 6 MONTHS!!! After 3 months, I found this site; did I bowel cleanse, stopped taking the Antibiotics , and my face has just about cleared up completely!!!

My question is this...I keep hearing Candida mentioned...how do I know if I have it? I am sure that being on Antibiotics for a year has gotten my body all out of whack. How do I get back on track? Should I take probiotics? Which ones are best with out breaking the bank? I keep hearing people say they see Candida in the toilet. Is this cloudy urine? I am confused. Help!! Explain this in layman's terms; and help me know what to look for. THANK-YOU!!!
