I have tried a few other less notable probiotics, but since discovering that dairy was a part of my problem, I have been using the Jarro-dophilus. I don't doubt that there are better probiotics on the market, but I get 60 caps for $12 dollars and only need to take 1-2 a day(but I usually take more), so I feel it is also a great bargain. Plus with potentially 4 billion micros in each cap and enteric coating, I believe my bases are covered. I wasn't using them with as much regularity when they had to be refrigerated. I keep the box in the fridge and just take out a strip at a time.
My third thing was pau d'arco tablets. They made a world of difference. My daughter only used them, and completely cleared her skin rash that nystatin and prescription hydrocortisone cream failed to clear.
