Re: Question for Aggiepoke

Lisa, actually I'm sure the gluten-intolerance had an indirect effect, by helping to cause the candida.

I know it was the candida because I had some significant visual improvement earlier this year while taking echinacea and goldenseal along with a vitamin that contained molybdenum. Several weeks after discontinuing the E/G my vision began to return to blurry, and I had also changed vitamin supplements. I have spent these intervening months trying to figure out what improved my vision. At that time, I had no idea I was gluten-intolerant, and was not in any way eating the gluten-free diet I have been eating the past couple of months.

I first realized the link to candida from some posts by others on CZ that had noticed vision improvements during candida treatments. Then I found info on leaky gut, then gluten-intolerance, then molybdenum, then .....

So, I'm fairly confident that the candida was the more direct cause.
