Hypothyroidism and Candida-- Confused!!?

When i read the symptoms of Hypothyroidism i was alarmed at how many of the symptoms i have. Many disorders, including Candida, can cause many of the same symptoms as Hypothyroidism as far as I know.
I'm about 95% sure I have systemic candida and I have a case of Oral Thrush i keep killing but it keeps coming back.
This is where I got confused because one of the main symptoms of Hypothyroidism is hypothermia. I performed the basal thermometer test and i was getting readings around 96.8 degrees. People with temperatures below 97.8 are considered hypothyroid, so i got a TSH test performed. My TSH levels checked out to be normal but then I remember reading that TSH tests might be unreliable. Then theres the fact that im an 18 year old male and im a very "unlikely" candidate for hypothyroidism. Then theres also the fact that many people in my family are hypothyroid including my mother and 2 sisters, and i recently tried my mother's armour thyroid medicine for 4 days at approx 2-4 30 mg pills per day. Alot of my symptoms immediately lessened... I had much more energy, my dry skin subsided, I could concentrate, and I felt better. I also understand a normal person taking hypothyroid medicine "might" be dangerous?

Theres the beleif that candida is not caused alone or by itself but often has a "hidden" disorder lessening the bodies immune system to allow the candida to grow.

This is where I really need to find out whether im:
Hypothyroid which is causing oral thrush,
or
Systemic Candida and Leaky Gut Sydrome,


At this point im really confused... Can anyone with experience with either help me out and possibly tell me what you beleive is wrong with me and/or tests to perform. I start school in 1 month and i would like to start on my way to feel better.
