Re: The big bang theory
Evolution is not dead. It is alive and ticking, but many people don't seem to understand that it's not the "whole picture". "Evolution" cannot explain the entirety of existence. It is only a fragment, one process that fits in with many. Evolution is an observable fact of life. Not only scientifically, but spiritually. The evolution of the physical "world" is only the manifestation of the evolution of consciousness as it moves through the massive spectrum of awareness, from "ignorance" (non-awareness) to "enlightenment" (self-awareness).
So in one aspect, evolution is correct. But it must be kept in context. Evolution only takes place "in the middle". It is a process set into motion by "the beginning", yet it can never explain the beginning, as it is a sub-process. The beginning is the birth of evolution, and the end is the death of evolution. Beyond the bounds of the beginning and the end, there is no evolution. Evolution is only a vehicle, manifested by consciousness to be used in its search for itself.
Creationism is also correct, but again, it's only one fraction of the picture. Creationism and evolution are NOT mutuallty exclusive like everyone seems to think. People only think they are because they're too stuck in their egos and are addicted to "taking sides" and opinions. A huge debate has been created over which is correct, which is silly, because really both are correct. They are good friends, working hand-in-hand!
The "big bang" is correct. But it didn't happen on its own. There is a cause for it, but the core "cause" is within (or IS) a state of non-vibration that scientific instruments are not capable of penetrating. "Instruments" are stuck within this entire "material" realm and as such are limited to just that. And by material I don't just mean physical matter, but also electromagnetic energy, electricity, etc. Because really there is no difference between what we usually see as "material" and "non-material" (i.e. heat, electricity, etc.). They are fundamentally the same "thing", just operating at different vibrations. But there is another "reality" outside of the realm of vibrations, and trying to penetrate THAT realm, by using "tools" from within the realm of vibration, is futile. It's like being stuck in a dream, and tryign to create a dream-object to penetrate into the "real" world outside of the dream. It can't be done, because those objects themselves are subordinate to the dream and cannot reach past it.
Science (by its more common, non-spiritual definition) will never be able to understand the cause of the "big bang" or the original creation or "source" of all that we see right now, because
Science itself is subordinate to the "dream" and can never penetrate beyond it. It can see right up to the boundaries, right up to the very point the "dream" began, but it will never be able to see beyond. Evolution is also subordinate to the "dream", and as such,
Science can know it well! There may or may not be a deeply thorough understanding of evolution at this point, but eventually it will all be fully understood, it's only a matter of time. They're both on the same level, in the same "playing field".
So, if
Science can never know, (and creationists are way off target, too!) then is all hope lost? No, definately not.
Science may be limited in its reach, but YOU ... WE ... are not. Why? Because, while we may be PERCEIVING "the dream", we are not OF the dream. We, in our true nature, are not a creation of the dream. Only these forms that we identify with are of the dream, but we, the "ones" doing the identifying and perceiving, are not. Infact, quite the opposite. The "dream" is subordinate to US, much in the same way that our typical dream state is subordinate to the waking state. Similarily, there is yet another more awake, more "real" state beyond what we consider the waking state. To realize it, all you have to do is simply wake up!
Evolution is 1/4 of the picture, creationism is another 1/4. Add them together and you have 1/2 of the picture. The other 1/2 is veiled, unseen.
To know the unseen, a change of direction is needed.
The whole argument over evolution vs creationism is wrong. It hasn't produced enlightened minds yet and it never will. It's a waste of time, entirely unproductive ... It's like 2 dogs barking at eachother for no reason other than the fact that the other dog is barking! Pointless! And yet, it's possible for a simple uneducated, unreligious person to have an epiphany and in the blink of an eye understand "it all", without ever having cared about evolution or creationism or science or God or any of that. How is it possible? Simply, awareness was "moving" in a different "direction".
If you want to know the "truth", then forget about both and start moving self-ward. In knowing "the self", or "yourself", the underlying fundamental principle of ALL things becomes known and understood. Then you see just how stupid the whole debate is. They're all missing the point completely. They're trying to fire an arrow at a target, by shooting in the opposite direction! Or by shooting in random directions without knowing of any target at all (which seems to be the more common case!)
But if you like the debate, if you like seeing your side as right, and the other as wrong, and think you "know" so well just how right you are, then by all means continue! Just be fully aware that no real understanding will come from it.
