Very well said and yes it is always demonization that is the cause of such brutality but what is the justification that people use for their demonization? Many would argue that religion has been that justification...Christians had no problem slaughtering millions of native americans because in their eyes they weren't Gods people, they were heathen and thats how religion can be used in order to demonize others. Religion is not always the reason but it can hardly be disputed as a major cause or source of justification for murder, even today. Tweet
