Re: define religion
Does it matter if I don’t ‘like’ religion? Religion is like a shoe, you try it on and if it fits you buy it, if it doesn’t you go somewhere else. I am just lucky that in this life I found true happiness.
The fact of the matter is that I don’t want anyone to ‘lighten’ my burden, it is sent to me to process with the many gifts that are bestowed to me, and then I go forward. Undealt burden leads to anger, and I don’t like anger as I like the opposite – happiness. Anger is destructive and happiness is infectious so why wouldn’t you choose happiness?
Your definition of burden is ‘lesson’, I think it is a lesson somewhat, but its like a bend in a river – it shapes you, you’re the river. If you didn’t have that ‘lesson’ you may have taken the wrong turn, but you learned and took the right one. You wouldn’t want a river to try to go uphill would you? When you take the right bend, the burden is gone and the path ahead is clear.
I believe ‘god’ the creator is omnipotent, therefore he is in me, so I look inside myself and I find answers. Why carry ‘burden’ instead of dealing with it?
Life is what you make of it, grudges and hatreds live in a weak mind, love and kindness dwell in a strong mind.
Life is short, do good things,
