you have a very good comprehension... most can't even admit that they might have a problem with alcoholism or addiction... let alone seeing all the fear that permeates their lives on every level... that drives... controls... and hold them prisoner...

in fact... from my point of veiw... what AA manages to do for us...(if we allow it)... is to point us ever so gently down a pathway that leads to "freedom from the bondage of self"...

sorry for not responding to your post sooner... was pretty busy yesterday... and just got around to checking in this morning... but as the saying goes... "better late than never"...
