That first step is a big one, admitting that we need help. You might be suprized at how many guys can’t or won’t do it. They would rather suffer with their problem than set it down with the help of others.

It is just the way we are wired I guess.

Here is the drill… sponsorship is something you get by going to the meetings in your area, and telling the men there what you have told us. You will probably leave that meeting with half a dozen phone numbers. Call them, if just to say thank you for the number.

Web sites are great, I haunt a few myself, but I also make face to face meetings every week. And I ain’t had a drink in years. mushroom49, if you want what we have, do what we did.

Try searching for Alcoholics Anonymous, Denver, and I will bet you will find just what you are looking for. A sane and happy life.
