Re: Looks like reactive hypoglycemia is the trigger

I'm back under a new handle, because I lost my password and couldn't reset it. I just wanted to wrap up my thread, by confirming that "the blood Sugar rollercoaster", i.e. blood Sugar spikes and crashes, is one of my migraine triggers, and it tends to get triggered when I try to do the liver flush, because of the high-carb, low protein/fat diet. This kind of diet gets me every time (not just when I eat that way for the liver flush).

However, on my last flush, I did manage to avoid the migraine by eating less sugar. This was my third flush, and it went well. Here is what I ate.

Breakfast: oatmeal soaked overnight in lemon water, topped with blackberries. 100 ml of protein smoothie (per 100 ml: 13g sugar, 2g protein, <0.5 g fat).
In between: water with malic acid and a little lemon
Snack: Banana
Lunch: vegetables (with brussels sprouts but no beans) and basmati rice, cooked in just water, salted.
1:45 pm: 150 ml of the protein smoothie

I hope this can help someone else who has been prevented from doing the amazing liver and gallbladder flush due to the same annoying migraine trigger.
