Thanks for the link but I don’t believe it applies to me. I live in Australia where you can still find farms that do not mistreat animals in the way perhaps other countries do. We have stricter laws and the ability to buy much higher quality meat. I only eat organic free range chickens and eggs and we eat meat such as King Island Beef where the cows have a very rich diet (grass only – no grain) and room to move. I also am a protein eater by my metabolic type, if I have grains I get sick – I am allergic to several vegetables and many fruits also. I have little choice but to eat protein from various sources to have balanced nutrition.
I respect that people are vegetarian or vegan and respect their reasons, I have some friends who have chosen that path and at one point I considered it myself but the research out there against vegetarian and the risks are just to strong for me to consider going that way.
