Re: Why is Cutler so against supplemental glutathione?

I'm sorry that I missed your post when you originally made it. I'm sorry about your difficult situation. In the Yahoo detox support groups we've heard from a number of highly sensitive people like you.

You may apprciate this story, but I admit is is probably the most positive outcome I've come across. Many others like Patti have gotten major gains but not so many report such complete resolution to so many symptoms

Check out Cutler's discussion with Dr Pompa. They address the issue you raise about glutathione towards the end. I have more on this if requested.
You'll have to right click the link at this site and download the mp3.

Cutler on what glutathione and the related cysteine supplements in a mercury toxic person.

I too very much appreciate your statement about praying for guidance. There are so many options and so little from mainstream doctors. I chose Cutler's protocol because it seemed to be the safest effective method. I was willing to be patient. It has worked out well for both myself and two friends.

You'll probably also be interested in some of the theories from another PhD chemist who talks on teh subject of detox.
