Yes, I detected the sarcasm, but I think he also actually believes these doctrines of demons. And as a general observation, the lens explanation is fine, but it also applies to other verses that he twists to serve his agenda.
What I had in mind was specific to 2 Cor. 11:2-3, and trying to understand him better is not the issue. I understand enough to easily refute his take on this passage.
