Re: You mean like this?
well, the first article is real rubbish. the second one kind of interesting.
you see, there is a fine line in my thinking. its called 'man lies and god doesnt'. thats what makes the bible so valuable. its the truth in a world full of lies.
it is clear that time is no big deal to god.
Psalm 90
A Prayer of Moses the man of God.
1
Lord, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations.
2
Before the mountains were brought forth,
or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world,
even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.
3
Thou turnest man to destruction;
and sayest, Return, ye children of men.
4
For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past,
and as a watch in the night.
5
Thou carriest them away as with a flood; they are as a sleep:
in the morning they are like grass which groweth up.
6
In the morning it flourisheth, and groweth up;
in the evening it is cut down, and withereth.
2 Peter 3:8
But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
so how long ago and all that is meaningless. any dating don due to the activity of the sun, including radioactive decay, is meaningless as the sun doea and can fluctuate. the whole wolrd has been flooded so layers are variable.
one thing seems sure, though. there was two species of man from two different sources/events. they interbred. the one died off in the flood. the other survived with some remnants of the other species intact within the survivors.
the first species is the reptiles - created along with the dinosaurs and such. the other was more recent and came with accompianing animals that were mammals like man. thats the short sweet story. now that details are more readily available that just means more lies to slant what is thought oablut the details. they are not going to find anything to contradict the bible. they havent so far and they are not going to.
it wont be long before we dont have the luxury of discussing these topics anyway.
