My lowest point was around six to seven weeks after removal. It was as bad as the worst times when I had the IUD. I found a lot of other women who had similar issues around the same point (the "Mirena crash"). Give it time. I started to get much, much better around the 2-month mark; for some women, it takes more like six months. Everyone is different, but you are giving your body a chance to heal. Take a multivitamin and try to eat as healthy as you can (lots of veggies, avoid vegetable oils, try to eat foods with a lot of omega-3 fats)--this really helped me get back on track. (Even now, vegetable oils and fried foods make my hormones get out of whack!)
