Re: Whooping cough...

Thanks Tansy! Yes, it is hard and worrisome when our child is sick. She's been sick already about two weeks now and I wasn't overly concerned until yesterday when all the sudden she sounded like she was dying from the bathroom. The ironic thing is that when this happened I was in the middle of reading someone's blog on trusting God even in really difficult circumstances and this person was talking about her husband dying at a really young age. So I immediately got up and rushed to see if she was okay, but she did not look okay and she couldn't speak and she was gasping for breathe. After a minute or two she was okay but that's when I went on a mad research to see what could possibly be wrong. I googled the symptoms she was having and whooping cough sounded exactly like the symptoms she's been having. Then it was confirmed when my husband called some people she had been around right before she started having that cough and sure enough, one of the kids had whooping cough and a bunch of the other kids that had been around him the same time as my daughter, had it too.
