Re: Vitamin D levels drop with iodine

I have been struggling with Hashimoto for years
TPO antibodies around 2,000. I attended a seminar with Dr Brownstein here in London
It was difficult to believe what he was saying after
Studying Hashimoto and everything other Drs were saying about iodine. I had given up wheat for years before meeting him this at least helped me to function. 5 years later I had exhausted every avenue and decided to give the Iodine a go.
It's been tough but since August last year I have been getting better. I am up to 50mg drops of Lugols Iodine and so many things are changing some good some bad. Recently I have had pains in my knee hands and neck. Knee so bad I could hardly walk. I've used more selenium to combat the pain thinking it may be a Hashimoto attack but no I've added 2,000 vit. D and pains are subsiding
I had a test for vit d last year and it was 75 and satisfactory. I know the Iodine has lowered it. Would love to know why this happens.
