Re: Vitamin D levels drop with iodine

more and more these days i question the 'tests'. all of them. i feel better every day, yet my thyroid, adrenal, and D measures all went down as of last week. this was my first 'post-iodine' bloodwork. the only thing that improved was pituitary (prolactin) by dropping out of the abnormal (high) range.
i agree, we all need to be getting our D, and I have been on the best fermented cod liver oil since well before iodine. i even doubled my dose in the past few months. i've also been getting as much sun as i can (in the midst of a harsh winter). yet the D drops. i think this is the last time i waste money on blood measures. i used to bank on that 'objective' measure but now i think i will trust how my body feels and save the cash.
