I have to wear lipstick tomorrow so I helped some crusts peel in the shower. I didn't use force, I slightly pushed any loose skin upwards slowly. Any skin toughly attached to my lips did not come off. I'm hoping whatever I took off was actually ready to come off and I hope I didn't hinder my progress too much. I feel bad about it though. The layer that had formed below the crust was attached to the lips and did not want to come off. It got soggy when wet or Vaseline-d, but did not peel readily. I still have some whitish layer on my lips, which I'm hoping is a stubborn layer. I put on Vaseline before bed as usual. Hoping I didn't throw myself back to square one. 😓 Tweet
