Day 9

I don't even know what is going on with my lips. They had crusty buildup. I exfoliated with a warm towel, and the two large crusts broke into smaller sections. I then treated exposed sections with witch hazel, peeled away any loosened skin, cut them off with nail scissors, and continued applying witch hazel.

I took a hot shower and exfoliated. My lips have huge vertical red lines now, at the spots where the two crusts had separated. The crusts were gone and I applied witch hazel. I was left with a soggy mess of white stuff as well as red lines. I then washed the witch hazel off with warm water. Not wearing any lip balm now.

My lips feel smooth except in some places, where it's flakey and the bits feel like they need to be bitten off.

My top lip isn't as weird as by bottom lip though.

Hopefully this weirdness is a sign changes are happening for the better. I will get back to you with another update in a few days, or whenever I notice weird changes. Tweet
