N-acetylcarnosine eye drops

I regret that I tried this brand and other brands of NAC cataract reversal eye drops, and they did not work for me.
As far as we understand, NAC eye drops work only in the early stage of cataracts, otherwise only on cortical (lens edge) cataracts. It should also be noted that most eye drops like this contain, as preservatives , borax, which definitely promotes protein aggregation and is therefore pro-cataract, and benzyl alcohol, which recently was found to promote protein aggregation, although one report in the 1990s stated that it was able to slightly reverse the condition. We agree however that everybody facing cataract surgery should first try NAC eye drops for 1-2 months, because they are safe, widely available, and may work for you. Tweet
