There has been a study that seemed to point out that lenses clearance wouldn't work on cataractuous nuclei (the summary that starts the article simply says that the experience made by Zangh was not reproductible, but if you read the complete article carefully, it turns out that it simply wouldn't work for NUCLEI only, AND
within the same amount of time and with the same lanosterol quantities being used as for an experience on entire lenses, I reckon. Makes me feel dubious... Not all cataracts necessarily reach nuclei maybe, do they ? The study even implies that with more time or/and more lanosterol, it could be different, if my memory works okay...
