Re: Cracked Tooth
I would like to ask, what use is mung bean? The nutritional content of both the bean and sprouts is fairly poor IMO. They are also high in Omega 6 fats which is unhealthy. They do provide high phosphorus levels but that is about all.
TBH Chia seeds would be a better source of nutrition being both high in calcium, magnesium and phosphorus and all in very good ratios which are all needed for healthy teeth. They are high in Omega 3 oils and very high in fibre (34%) which are additional benefits. Also reasonably high in fairly decent quality protein, maybe low in methionine but apart from that pretty decent.
I get them for less than £3.50/Kg so not badly priced for such a high nutrient source IMO.
I have been using them for quite a while but only about twice daily. I take around 30ml at a time, just weighed them as 25 grams so I do need to up that considerably to 6 to 8 times a day.

BTW the first Bone broth I prepared, using organic beef, bones and cartilage, I did ask the butcher to include as much of the cartilage as possible. The bones pretty much disintegrated so that calcium went somewhere. However the last batch I did, a very long distance apart using a different source for the bones and they did not break down very much. I did saw the bones too but they only broke down a relatively small amount with the bone marrow. I am not too certain of the reason, a different slightly smaller pressure cooker (8 litre rather than 10) but both cooked for about 2 days.
