That is a whip worm. As far as I know they dont travel much. They dig into your bowel and will move with in the bowel to dig into another spot. They cause alot of pain cramping, tenesmus,mucus, blood, prolapse and ulceration. They do a lot of damage. They are pretty nasty. I had to take pyrantel everyday for a week to get this one to release from my cecal area. It was like the last hanger on that wouldnt' die with albendazole and alina. I would take the pyrantel and the mebendazole or albendazole at the same time and do lots of enemas. Oneladt that was on hee had them and she got treatment by doctors in Philidelpihia. She took pyrantel and they did ultrsounds to see if the worms died.
