Yeah, The Way, or The Way International is in most christian cult warning books, and that is the only reason I looked them up. I remembered the name. If you are not aware of the names of these cults, at first glance what they have to say may seem ok. Many times you can go to their websites and it's all clean of any cultish wrongs on the first page. It's only when you dig deeper into the website pages do you find what their beliefs are all about. So it's easy for our "sound-bite generation" to fall prey to thinking they sound christian. No need to feel guilty when innocently done, but we will have to be watchful...especially without having vektek here to be the diligent researcher for us.

It's just a sign of the times. As these types of cults break down and then turn into splinter groups, we may not recognize them by their new names any longer. So its good to have a keen ear to hearing wrong doctrine so we can avoid sharing biblically false info. It takes time. Time we don't always have I'm afraid. And that's how the devil takes advantage of us.

Glad you got to witness the person see the Light.
