I didn't check out Tomi's link, but I know a little bit about "The Way". At least I do if it is the same group that I am thinking of. I worked with a man a few years back who was involved with this group. He did not believe in the deity of Christ. That is a big red flag that it is a cult. They do believe in speaking in tongues. In fact, according to this man, they believed that if you do not speak in tongues you are going to hell. He was really hung up on tongues.

The Christians at work tried and tried to get him to see that he was involved with a cult. He eventually quit the job. The story does have a happy ending. One day he did come back to the job site to visit and told us Christians that he finally left the group because he finally saw error. It's hard talking to these people, but some of them finally do get it. We never know what God is using as we try to share the truth with people. Tweet
