Re: Longterm

I'm not sure what good topical application would do if there is an underlining reason why they are peeling. I've pretty much accepted that topical application of creams/ointments/oils is not going to cure them which is why I am focusing on diet and doing everything I can to help my immune system.

I mix chia/flax seeds in with every meal I have now, having only introduced the flax last week. I may start eating organic hemp seeds as well for it's anti-inflammatory/omega 3 properties. I've ceased using aquaphor for the time being only because I'm conscious of elminiating any potential triggers. I'm not sure about you, but my peeling begins with redness/inflammation of the inferior lip (I've posted pictures on here in another thread) and I'm pretty certain this relates to the exfoliation of the entire upper and lower lip. One does not seem to occur without the other, which leads me to believe there is a synergitic link.
