Huh...What ignorance?? I've quite figured this out via comprehensive thinking, far more encompassing than mere critical thinking.

It's clear to me parasites are only capable of chemical 'messages' like urging you to go eat more sugar. Nothing any more complex. They can 'control' the less complex animals because they're not capable of asking "Gee, why am I doing this?' in response to the chemical stimuli. They are responding to the urges.

Humans are way too complex and can question, and ignore the promptings of the chemical signal.

Of course if you dumb everyone down to the point of zombie-like, yeah, then it would probably work, in response to the chemical stimuli. It probably *is* working, as dumb as many people have gotten. They, like the animals incapable of thought, would just obey the urgings.
