Day 8 feeling slightly better


Day 8 feel better than yesterday. Had better sleep. Probably the colonic - first into the fast - I did with 1/2 tsp of Sea Salt contributed.

Warning - it may be TMI for some:
... as a result the foul smell isn't there anymore on occasional gas. I was not palnnig to do any intially, but after speaking to my father, who once did Russian-style fast, and the foul smell I experienced, I decided to go for it. I have Bowel adhesions, so I feel I need to the colnic once or twice a week. The cleaned substance was not smelly, but liquid and it feels like there was some substance that was sticking around the intestinal walls and still provoking inflammation.

I had quite a bit of rice in the days to the fast and just came to learn from a Paleo-lecture that rice also has "glutelins". The question is how much lees or more allergogenic are these than the Paloe meat - I bet they are less - esp that cooked meat is hard to digest and contains all sort of concentrated contaminants, not to say that farmed animals still carry the gluten from the grains they're fed with.
I guess soaking, then sprouting, then fermenting the rice into rice kefir or rice yogurt (maybe some coconut thrown in) can remedy that Glutelin concern.
I am planing my post-fast gluten-free diet and I dreamt of wheat pitas that smelt sooo good. Ha-ha Good thing I was hesitating to eat them in my dream :)
