Re: Please Help!!Whipworm/Hookworm or not?
Sounds like a round worm. They are all mostly the same. Some have L1-L2 stages, some have L1-L2-L3-L4 stages. Some are small, Some are large.
Does not seam to matter much, doctors that try to id by species dependent on symptoms are fools.
It is true that certain
parasites go to an area, but even that generalization is suspect.
ELISA testing is capable of identifying the worm with a little more specificity, but almost all round worms species share at least 14 primary enzymes, I.E. the effect on the body is the same.
Could be thread worm, or hookworm, legs and gut seam to be the primary target. You could test for ELISA.
Once worms have disseminated, the traditional 3 pill of this or that is a fantasy. I am at day 60 and I'm just now seeing my immune system back to fighting them, clorox and peroxide smells tell me that is my body finally fighting back.
