I tried a lot of different things and the Liver Flush was the only thing that worked for me, but you're fairly young, so you might find that other things work for you. If you can't cut out all meat, I would suggest that you increase your intake of vegetables, especially raw vegetables - they have the most nutrients and help heal the body. We're not always going to eat perfectly, so I think the key is to balance the acidic food with fruit/vegetables. When I was really sick, I was eating well - lots of raw vegetables - but now that I feel good I don't always eat as well as I should. I am a vegetarian and somewhat a vegan these days.
Have you tried digestive enzymes? They really help to digest food. They were a big help for me when I wasn't digesting well.
