Re: Dry eye relief from eating lot of cake. How to understand this?
Yes, I felt better in my eyes after the second helping of cake, although significantly less than the first time.
Yesterday I gave myself an extensive oil massage all over the body which felt very relaxing and beneficial. I fell asleep after that, twice in the day, for 2 hours each. I wonder if this too has something to do with needing fat.
I see the distinction you make between healthy cravings and cravings that fulfill psychological needs, if i may rephrase it like that. I may be wrong but I didn't feel I was eating cake for the sugar, but rather for the thick, gooey, moist part of it which I gather is egg. In fact part of me was detesting eating so much
Sugar while i was eating it.
Anyhow, I am not going to be eating any more cake. It was an experiment to see how my body responds. I come out of it with the sense that I must add more nuts and oily seeds, and perhaps a little cooked food and healthy salad dressings, to my diet to satisfy this need for fat.
